My Story

Growing up in New Zealand my early childhood was filled with watching my father cook farm-style meals and baking with my grandmother. My father taught me to gather kai moana and live off the land. Living with my mum, never a lover of the kitchen, cooking quickly became a creative outlet for me and I had taken over as the main cook in our household by 13 years of age.

I then left NZ at the ripe age of 19 and moved to Europe. I naturally fell into work as a cook and began the journey of a self-taught chef. Traveling and working around the globe, immersing myself in culture and the tastes and colours of the world. I now live between the South of France and Queenstown, NZ, enjoying a life filled with fabulous food in beautiful places.

I’ve gained a wealth of cooking knowledge as a Private Chef aboard luxury yachts and in residences throughout the Americas, Caribbean, Mediterranean, UK, North Africa, Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. I have worked for an array of UHNW clients with dietary needs and I possess a firm understanding of Dairy, Gluten & Refined Sugar Free cooking, including Vegan and Vegetarian.

After many years of self development work, working with coaches, healing retreats, yoga teachers and feeding my spiritual passions I then trained as a Holistic Coach myself and went on to complete my studies in Nutrition & Wellness with IIN in New York City. My journey to ultimate wellness evolves every day.

Having overcome debilitating health issues through lifestyle and diet changes, I love to share this with those who wish to explore this direction of healing. It is my belief I have a special ability to share my energy through my cooking and I feel blessed to possess such a gift and love to share it.

Some special achievements in my career have been; writing multiple health titled cookbooks for Australian Women's Weekly, developing recipes for Donna Hay's magazine Fresh & Light, being featured in Gourmet Traveller and writing a 6-page food feature for Good Taste Magazine
